PURPOSE: To provide a means for discriminating the best among three match-ups within the three phases of a multiphase power system for smoothly transferring power from one power source to another power source. CONSTITUTION: A polarity change detector 58 detects some change of polarity of one phase form among the three phases of a present or new power source of load. A logic network 54 generates output, based on the input offered from the load and the new power source or both the power source and the present power source vs. load form and the information obtained from a lockup table. The output from the logic network 58 is latched in a register 56 by the sampling lock led out from the polarity change detector 58. The output of the latch offers the solution for the best phase matching at the time for which some are given. |
