PURPOSE:To adequately detect the end of discharge of a storage battery in an apparatus for supplying electrical power using a storage battery. CONSTITUTION:When a commercial power supply fails, a power is supplied from an inverter 7 by connecting it to a storage battery 5 through a converter 6. A circuit 16 for detecting a voltage of the storage battery 5 and a circuit 17 for detecting a discharge current are provided. A comparator 18 generates a signal indicating the end of discharge when the detected voltage of the storage battery becomes lower than the reference voltage defined by a current detecting signal. |
