PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which can maintain a good image state with lessened reflection of external light over a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:A glass plate 4 having an antireflection coating is stuck to the output end face of an optical fiber bundle 1 and, therefore, the reflection of the external light in the displayed image is prevented. A colorless transparent elastic resin 3 is packed in the spacing between this output end face and the glass plate 4 and, therefore, the reflection of the light on the rear surface of the glass plate 4 is prevented. Further, the shearing adhesive power of the colorless transparent elastic resin 3 is larger than the stress of the deviation between the glass plate 4 and the colorless transparent elastic resin 3 by thermal expansion and, therefore, the peeling of the glass plate 4 is prevented. The colorless transparent elastic resin 3 packed between the glass plate 4 and the output end face is gelatinized and, therefore, the leaking and bubbling of liquid do not arise. Since the colorless transparent elastic resin 3 is injected in a liquid state, the easy packing thereof is possible. |
