An MB-MM(Multiband-Multimode) terminal and a method for processing traffic voice data therein are provided to prevent unnecessary power consumption by executing the searching of the traffic voice data stored in slave mode without the necessity of driving a slave modem in case that an MB-MM mobile terminal is being operated in master mode. If a traffic voice storage command is received in a traffic state, a slave modem(210) processes transmitted and received voice signals according to a preset method(300,310). The slave modem(210) stores the first traffic voice data in a slave storage part(330), and writes the first file information to an internal communication path(260)(340). A master modem(220) reads the first file information from the internal communication path and stores it in a master storage part(350,360).
