PURPOSE:To provide a method for turning a reversible heat sensitive recording material turbid and an image recording apparatus whereby the recording material can be turned turbid in a short time, the manufacturing cost is reduced and an image of high contrast which is not insufficient of turbidity is formed at the recording time. CONSTITUTION:A heat sensitive layer mainly composed of a resin base material and an organic low molecular substance dispersed in the resin base material is formed on a supporting body of the reversible heat sensitive recording material. The transparency of the heat sensitive layer is reversibly changed depending on the temperatures. According to the method for turning the recording material to be turbid and white, after the recording material is heated to the turning temperature, the temperature is lowered to 45 deg.C or lower. |
