The device is built on a wheeled vehicle. are located shunting devices (4,4') are located lateral to a base frame (5) inbetween a front arm (2) and a portable arm (3) for push apart and towards of the bridge sections, consisting of track carriers and projection carrier sections (8,11). The base frame as well as each bottom flange of the projection carriers and each bottom flange of the line carriers provide support. A height adjustable feed device (12) is located in between the front and portable arms on the base frame, which drives the projection carrier of the bridge section after the separating of a bridge section. Guides are located near a front arm end (13) between the front arm and the portable arm for positioning of the joined separable bridge section.
