Furniture system using profiled metal rods and wooden plates

The outside face (2) of the metal rods is rounded in a quarter circle. One edge of the rounded profiled part (1) is radially adjoined by a flat profiled part (3) which is let into a groove (4) in the end side of the wooden plate (5). The two profiled parts (2,3) are formed as an integral profiled section. At a distance (A) from the edge (6) of the rounded profiled part adjoined radially by the flat part is a further flat profiled part (7) formed in one piece at right angles to the flat profiled part. It fits into a groove (8) in the end side of a further wooden plate (11) set at right angles to the first plate.
