METHOD FOR TRIMMING RESISTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for trimming a resistor with a higher accuracy than a conventional method. SOLUTION: A resistor pattern 17 for trimming comprises a first and a second resistor patterns 18 and 19 for rough trimming and a resistor pattern 20 for fine trimming. The resistor pattern 18 for rough trimming is provided with several resistor branches 21a-21f for cur which are connected in parallel. First, cutting grooves 24 and 25 are made in the resistor patterns 18 and 19 for rough trimming to roughly adjust the resistance. Then a cutting groove 26 is formed in at least one of resistance branches 23a-23d for cut of the resistor pattern 20 for fine trimming in such a way that the resistance branch for cut is not completely separated to finely adjust the resistance.
