PURPOSE: To remove the upper surface of a patient's tibia by this milling tool by connecting a guide connected to the bone to the milling tool supported by a nutation slider means engaged with a track means to be freely nutation-slid. CONSTITUTION: After a knee joint is exposed due to surgical operation, a milling guide 10 is positioned in the tibia through a piercing hole of a bracket 24. Secondly, a nutation element 26 is supported by a bottom wall 20 of a board 12, and nutated along the bottom wall 20 to be guided by a track 23. A surgeon moves the nutation element 26 to be in contact with one of end walls 14, 16 of the board 12, and the milling tool is positioned between the top wall 18 of the board 12 and the bottom wall 20. Subsequently, while the milling tool is rotated through an adapter 32 by a rotation power source, the surgeion nutates the milling tool across the bone to remove the upper surface of the tibia. |
