The invention concerns a screw (1) provided with a shank (3), a head (2) and a boring part (5). The shank (3) has a thread (4). The head (2) comprises a collar (6) disposed at an axial spacing (B) from the support face (12), a section (7) adjoining the collar at the shank end being provided with a tool-engagement surface (8). A tool can thus grasp the screw head (2) in axially secure manner in the region of the collar (6), this tool then simultaneously being able to transmit the necessary torque in the region of the tool-engagement surface (8).
