A locking lever for fixing the ice skate in a position where the shoe (5) lies flat against the skate frame (1) cooperates with a catch in the form of a second lever (19) that can be pivoted so that its free outer end engages with a catch surface in the locking lever. A foot support (4) is pivotably mounted on a skate frame including the skate blade, the foot support being attached to the frame by a hinged joint with a cross-direction hinge axis allowing the support to be pivoted between an unfolded position and a collapsed position against a heel support (7) in the frame. In the collapsed position the foot support and frame can be fixed into position by a spring-loaded locking lever attached to one of these two parts.
