A roller bearing (1) has an integrated surge generator coil and two independent sensor units (4,5). The sensor units are fitted to both front surfaces of the roller bearing. Surge coils (6) and sensor components (7) have a frictional, interlocking connection with thrust rings (2,3) in a single roller bearing.
