<p>PURPOSE:To improve the abrasion resistance of a transfer member and the homogeneity of its surface and to perform a stable transfer regardless of changes in temperature and humidity by disposing on a base material an electrodeposition coating containing a filler, and then disposing thereon an organic coating. CONSTITUTION:A transfer member is constituted by disposing on a base material 4 a first coating 1 of an electrodeposition coating containing a filler and then disposing thereon a second coating 20 of an organic coating. The base material 4 consists of metal or plastics and is subjected to surface treatment. The filler consists of ceramic fine particles or the like. The first coating 1 and the second coating 20 have a thickness of 5 to 30mum, respectively. The transfer material constituted in this manner is used, for example, to form a transfer passage for an image receiving body in an electrophotography device. This constitution improves the abrasion resistance of the transfer member and the homogeneity of its surface, and allows a stable transfer even in an environment subject to temperature and humidity changes.</p> |
