Intermittent compression of human extremities for treatment of vein ailments

The arrangement has a collar that can be applied to the extremity and a pressure generator for applying intermittent pressure to the collar. The collar has a width (B) of not greater than 25 cm in the compression direction. It is a single-chamber collar corresponding to blood pressure measurement devices. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.
