A torque transmitter includes (a) a driver, (b) torque transmitting means for transmitting the torque generated by the driver to a follower, (c) a rotary body on the follower side, and (d) a torque reducer that reduces (or discontinues) the torque transmission when excessive torque over a threshold torque value is loaded to the rotary body on the follower side, and the torque limiter has different threshold-torque-values responsive to rotating directions of the rotary body. <IMAGE>
