<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To chemically remove an outside conductor (shield line) of a coaxial cable by a predetermined length. SOLUTION: A predetermined part of a flat cable is covered with a mask 7, which is submerged in an etchant. Related to the etchant, its main component is chlorine metal solution (MeCln+H2O) of weak acid while nonionic surfactant and dispersing agent added to it. Since an outside conductor 5 is a tin-plated copper wire, tin and copper solve out in the etchant, such outside conductor 5 as of part exposed from a mask 7 is removed, and an insulator of Teflon (registered trade mark) is exposed at such part as removed.</p> |
