<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute continuous switching for each section unit, etc., by outputting information on an extracted payload unit start indicator as an US flag, storing received transport stream data and the US flag and selecting one of the transport stream data for plural programs. SOLUTION: Inputted PROGRAM 1 transport stream data is analyzed and the payload unit start indicator bit is extracted from a header part of a transport stream packet by a detecting circuit A1. The extracted payload unit start indicator bit is outputted by synchronizing it with the PROGRAM 1 transport stream data and this signal is defined as a US flag Aα. Inputted PROGRAM 2 transport stream data is analyzed and a US flag Bαis similarly outputted by a unit start detecting circuit B2. The US flag Aαsynchronized with the PROGRAM 1 is received and stored in a buffer A3.</p> |
