PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thoroughly correct and control the meandering of a belt. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with an image carrier belt 160 which is stretched to be laid between plural rollers including a tension roller 120 having both end parts 122 formed in a tapered shape so as to be circulatingly driven, and which is provided with beads 161 at both side edges on the rear side, and a backup roller 130 arranged just on the downstream side of the tension roller 120 functions as a meandering control roller. Both ends of the tension roller 120 are mutually independently hung, and also, an energizing means for energizing the tension roller 120 toward the image carrier belt 160 is constituted of a common energizing means on both ends of the tension roller 120. |
