PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently remove residual toner on a photoreceptor and an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: The abutting pressure of a blade for a photoreceptor 21 for removing the residual toner on the photoreceptor 10 to the photoreceptor is set to be larger than that of a blade for an intermediate transfer body 41 to the intermediate transfer body 36. The abutting pressure of the blade 21 to the photoreceptor is made smaller when the photoreceptor is stopped than when it is rotated. The abutting pressure of the blade 41 to the intermediate transfer body is decreased as friction between the blade 41 and the surface of the intermediate transfer body gets larger. |
