PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom air conditioner for ensuring comfortable bathing in which accident in a bathroom can be alarmed by providing a sensor for detecting a person in a bathroom and lowering or stopping the output from a circulation fan when a person is present in the bathroom. SOLUTION: When a bathroom is heated, a heater 24 is conducted and a circulation fan 15 is driven to circulate air in the bathroom 1 inside an air conditioner 11 which is then heated by radiating heat from a heating panel 12. The circulation fan 15 is controlled by means of a microcomputer based on signals from a temperature sensor 22, a human body sensor 23, and the like. When the human body sensor 23 detects a person in the bathroom under bathroom heating operation mode, a decision is made whether temperature in the bathroom 1 is equal to or higher than 20 deg.C. If it is lower than 20 deg.C and the circulation fan 15 is operating in 'air volume: strong' mode, the air volume is changed from 'strong' to 'weak'. In case of 'air volume: weak' mode, operation is continued as it is. When the temperature is higher than 20 deg.C, the circulation fan 15 is stopped regardless of the air volume. |
