PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience capable of displaying a maintenance during stopping. SOLUTION: In the apparatus for controlling an air conditioner having functions of maintaining a room temperature at a set temperature of a remote control unit 1 and displaying a maintenance on a display unit 4, a shield 6 is operated during stopping to shield a portion of a material-to-be-detected sensor 5 provided in an indoor unit so that a range near the sensor 5 is used as a detecting range. When a user or the like approaches the indoor unit so that a material to be detected is detected by the sensor 5, the unit 4 displays a maintenance. |
