PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system which enables an administrator to speedily detect an error, occurring when information is distributed through a communication network, in such a case. SOLUTION: When a distributing server sends distributed data to a receiving server, reception completion data are sent from the receiving server to the distributing server once the reception of the distributed data is completed on the receiving server side. The distributing server side sends error information data to a managing server if the reception completion data can not be received normally from the receiving server as the transmission destination of the distributed data.
