PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content distribution system, a copyright protection system and a content reception terminal that can construct a large scale system and can correctly perform billing for content. SOLUTION: The copyright protection system 130 encrypts content whereabouts information with whereabouts authentication information added, produces the content selection document including the encrypted content whereabouts information and the whereabouts authentication information and transmits it to the content reception terminal 1100. The content reception terminal 110 receives the content selection document, extracts the encrypted content whereabouts information and the whereabouts authentication information to decrypt them, verifies the validity of the whereabouts of the content using the whereabouts authentication information, and, if the validity of the whereabouts of the content is confirmed, sends out a distribution request to a content distribution server designated by the content whereabouts information, and receives the content that is distributed in response to this distribution request. |
