PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize cell gap over a whole range of a display region and a non-display region in a color liquid crystal display element constituted by forming a black mask having almost the same thickness as that of a color filter in the non-display region. SOLUTION: A rib 12 having width and projection height being the same as a overlapping part 4a of respective color elements B, R, G is formed almost in parallel to respective color elements B, R, G on the black mask 9 in the non-display region VB. |
