摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption by operating a freezer for an ice storage-type cooling device in an energy saving mode in accordance with a beverage sales situation in a cup-type automatic vending machine or the like. SOLUTION: In the ice storage-type beverage cooling device, the evaporation coil 9a of the freezer, a beverage cooling coil and an agitator 10 are arranged in a cooling water tank 8 and beverage is cooled by the heat storage of an ice bank 11 ice to the periphery of the evaporation coil. An electrode-type ice bank sensor 15 is disposed facing the evaporation coil. The freezer is controlled to operate and stop based on the detection signal of the sensor. Four electrodes A to D arranged in ice growing direction P are disposed as sensor electrodes. At a regular operation mode, the freezer is operation-controlled by the electrodes A, B and C. At an energy saving operation mode, the freezer is operation-controlled by the electrodes A, B and D so as to prolong the operation cycle of the freezer. Learning energy saving control is performed to predict the next sales number of beverages based on past sales data and to switch the operation mode.</p>
