PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good quality demodulation signal with a small amount of electric power consumption. SOLUTION: A pass selecting unit 106 selects a pass having a largest reception level among passes that have threshold larger than a predetermined reception level from a delay profile. The pass selecting unit 106 also outputs the number of the passes having a larger reception level than the predetermined one to a threshold changing unit 107. The threshold changing unit 107 sets a new threshold from the selected number of the passes to output threshold changing instructions to the pass selecting unit 106. For example, the threshold changing unit 107 provides instructions to change the threshold when the number of selected passes is a predetermined one or over. Further, it can also vary a changing width of the threshold at that time.
