PURPOSE:To prevent the illegal leakage of a secret document by reading a picture of an original, reading digital additional information imbeded in advance in the picture, extracting the additional information such as a user name and storing the information while relating it to a relevant original picture. CONSTITUTION:When a hard copy of a picture read from an original is taken, digital additional information whose size cannot be identified by a general user from its external appearance is imbeded in the picture of the original and it is printed out. The additional information is information such as whether or not a document is a confidential document, what number of copy, by whom and when the copy is made, so that illegal copy by a third party and taking-out of the copy are inhibited and if taken out, the tracing of leakage is attained. Thus, the hard copy management system consists of plural picture processing units 100, 101-, a management equipment 200, a hard copy 106, a line 105 tying them, a computer 102, an original 103 and a floppy disk 104. |
