PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overhang a precast segment bridge and enhance working efficiency at the time of the installation of a precast segment bridge by an overhanging installation method. SOLUTION: After a column head segment 12 is installed on a bridge pier 20, a plurality of segments 14 between traves are installed so as to overhang in the axial direction of the bridge from the column head segment to install a chief girder. When the column head segment 12 is installed, a pair of subsegments 12S1, 12S2 are temporarily installed on the bridge pier through respective jacks 118 with a specified distance in the bridge-axial direction, after the height and direction of respective subsegments have been adjusted by the jacks, concrete C1 is placed in the adjustment joint between re-subsegments to unify the re-subsegments, and in this way, the column head segment 12 is not required to install a reference segment as a conventional step as it has a function like a conventional case, whereby it is possible to directly overhang the segments between traves from the column head segments and install them.
