PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a simple and comfortable chair with tiltable backrest with a reduced number of structural elements so that they can be easily and quickly assembled. SOLUTION: The chair is composed of a support structure (12) to support a seat (14) and a backrest (16). The backrest (16) composed of connecting parts (66) that connect a withstand loading part (62) and the backrest (16) with the support structure (12) can be tilted back from a still position when a user gives a pressing force and elastically return to the still position when the backward pressing force is interrupted. The backward inclination of the backrest (16) is created by an elastic deformation of part of the load bearing part (62) and a movement of the connecting part (66) to at least part of the support structure (12).
