PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage signature verification system, an electronic signature providing apparatus, a data adding apparatus, and an electronic signature verification apparatus capable of reducing a processing time required for making a sign in the case of adding data to original data. SOLUTION: The multistage signature verification system includes: the electronic signature providing apparatus for providing an electronic signature to identification information to particularize original data generated in advance, an acquired flap door hash value, and the data adding apparatus for generating the flap door hash value; the data adding apparatus that provides newly generated data and the identification information to the original data as additional data, and calculates a confirming value at which an output of a flap door hash function, receiving the additional data and the flap door hash value, is equal to the flap door hash value by utilizing secret information; and the electronic signature verification apparatus for verifying the validity of the additional data on the basis of the flap door hash value.
