PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the relocation method of a logical volume in which the requested I/O performance of each application is taken into consideration. SOLUTION: A logical volume relocatable program is arranged in a specific server. A logical volume relocatable program acquires server storage mapping information from each server, and acquires performance information from each storage subsystem. Also, the logical volume relocatable program acquires the requested I/O performance and rearrangement policy of each application set by a user. Furthermore, the logical volume relocatable program decides the relocation destination parity group of the logical volume designated by the user based on the information.
