<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system having relatively high energy efficiency; and to provide an oxidation gas supply method. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell 20; an air supply passage (oxidation gas supply passage) 71 for supplying air (oxidation gas) to the fuel cell 20; and a fuel gas supply passage 74 for supplying hydrogen (fuel gas) to the fuel cell 20. A compressor 10a (first compressor) of a turbine system 10 for hydrogen for pressurizing and feeding the oxidation gas supplied to the fuel cell 20 is installed in the air supply passage 71.
