A method for manufacturing an electronic paper display device is provided to decrease the defective rate due to outflow of a liquid type UV curable adhesive and reduce the damage of particles, by using a local heat source through a laser. A lower electrode is formed above a lower substrate(1), and an upper electrode is formed below an upper substrate(5). A barrier wall(4) is formed on the upper electrode to form a pixel space. Particles are injected into the pixel space to display an image. The upper substrate with the upper electrode is deposited on an upper surface of the barrier wall. The upper substrate and the barrier wall are coupled with each other, by applying laser(7) to the upper surface of the barrier wall through the upper substrate. |
