A latest content providing system and a service providing method thereof are provided to automatically update the latest contents to a content player from a content service server connected through the mobile network by providing only the latest contents through a mobile automatic registration mode. A relay(140) is connected to the content player(110) and provides the latest contents received through the mobile network(130) to the content player. The content service server(120) updates the latest contents and provides the updated latest contents to the content player through the mobile network by a request of the content player or a periodic mobile automatic registration mode. The content player includes a receiver(111) receiving the latest content from the content service server, a storing unit(113) storing the received contents, a playing unit executing the received contents, an operation state notifier(117) notifying the content service server of operation state information of the content player and a data transmitter(119) providing data inputted from the outside to the content service server. |
