<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an STA using a Sleep mode efficiently for reducing power consumption even if a beacon signal period to be received differs from the value of a beacon interval contained in the frame of the beacon signal. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: a radio section 4 for receiving the beacon signal of an access point AP; a control section 9 for controlling the entire station STA; a power supply section 10 for supplying power to the STA; an SW section 11 for supplying power from the power supply section to the radio section and for stopping the supply; a measurement section 7 for measuring the beacon signal period of AP received by the radio section; and a storage section 8 for storing the measured beacon signal period. The control section stores the measured result of the beacon signal period at AP by the measurement section into the storage section with the information of AP, and controls the supply and stop of the power supply to the radio section by the SW section based on the stored beacon signal period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
