摘要 FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly powder modules adapted to manually or remotely (semi- or automatically) extinguish volumetric fires and to suppress local fires in relatively long objects (cable channels, tunnels) in industrial and public buildings, storehouses, oil-and-lubricant stores, garages and so on. ^ SUBSTANCE: fire-extinguishing module comprises body filled with fire-extinguishing powder, gas-generator with solid fuel charge made as blocks, powder aeration means, member, which defines gas-and-powder mix flow and provided with diaphragm. Powder aeration means is formed as cylindrical shell with orifices created in shell side and grouped in rows, as well as closed bottom. Solid fuel charge is made as serially arranged channel-free blocks of condensed substance. The blocks are separated one from another with resilient pads. Each pad has central orifice. The cylindrical shell of powder aeration means is used as gas-generator body and is closed with lid fixedly connected thereto. The lid is provided with coaxially installed initiation means. Closed shell bottom is perforated along shell perimeter. Orifice rows are uniformly distributed along side length within the limits of module body and all perforation orifices of the shell are closed with openable members. Member, which defines gas-and-powder mix flow, is made as hollow cylindrical nozzle coaxially connected to module body bottom. Diaphragm closes nozzle end facing gas-and-powder mixture discharge and are pressed to it by coupling nut through washer. Module body is provided with neck adapted to receive gas-generator so that the gas-generator may be replaced. ^ EFFECT: extended operational capabilities and application range due to improved gas-and-powder mix flow movement, provision of optimal gas-and-powder mix spray parameters regardless of horizontal or vertical module orientation in space to be protected along with increased operational reliability of the structure as a whole. ^ 9 cl, 3 dwg
