Agent in a form of water emulsion for plastic forming of non-ferrous metals designed for drawing particularly copper wire, characterised in that it contains 8-18 parts by weight of oxyethylated nonylphenol containing on average 4.5-6 oxyethylene groups per one molecule, 6-8.5 parts by weight of oxyethylated nonylphenol, containing on average 8-9.5 oxyethylene groups per one molecule, 1.9-3 parts by weight of oxyethylated fatty amine containing in alkyl chains 10-22 atoms of carbon and on average 8-15 oxyethylene groups per molecule, 3-7 parts by weight of fatty C10-C22 acids, 0.7-1.5 parts by weight of monoetanolamine, 0-0.05 parts by weight of borax or 0-0.3 parts by weight of sodium nitrite, 0.5-1.0 parts by weight of water, 10-20 parts by weight of rapeseed oil, 45-62 parts by weight of mineral oil and possibly 0.05-0.2 parts by weight of corrosion inhibitor and 0.2-1.0 parts by weight of anti foaming agent.
