摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw type elevator capable of stopping a cage of an elevator in the door opening position on a next floor or the lowermost floor in an emergency to evacuate passengers. SOLUTION: In this invention, two motors are used. One is a screw shaft motor 6 and the other is a nut motor 7. The screw shaft motor 6 is connected to a screw shaft 1, and drives and rotates the screw shaft 1. A nut 3 is rotated with respect to the screw shaft 1 and is vertically moved along the screw shaft 1, and the cage 5 of the elevator is interlocked and is vertically moved along a rail 24. The nut motor 7 is connected to a connection table 4, and interlocks with the nut 3 and rotates it. Thus, the nut 3 is rotated with respect to the screw shaft 1 and is vertically moved along the screw shaft 1, and the cage 5 of the elevator is interlocked and is vertically moved along the rail 24.
