A data storing method and apparatus through the Internet are provided to prevent data from being lost or damaged when a computer or a device has a mechanical defect and remove a necessity of using time and efforts to restore damaged data. A data storing method through the Internet includes a step of searching a specific folder having a data file to be uploaded and a step(S28) of uploading the data file in the specific folder through the Internet in a manner designated by a user. The internet includes wired Internet and wireless Internet.
