PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a reproducing state for the user in an easy-to-understand manner in real time when reproducing objects according to the play lists. SOLUTION: This information player has a navigation manager 113 managing the play lists specifying the play back time of a single or multiplexed objects as desired, a data access manager 111 to fetch objects, a data cache 112 to tentatively store or output the inputted objects according to the play lists, a presentation engine 115 used as a decoder, an AV renderer 116 to output the objects after decoding, a live information analyzer 121 to analyze the kinds of objects being outputted according to the play lists, and a state-display data memory 122 to output the object identification information based on the above analyzed results for the objects being outputted.
