PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support stably a dust cover by providing a dust-proof function with a low-cost structure. SOLUTION: A disk device body 2 arranged in a case 1 has a loader chassis 6, a tray 9 for placing a disk D supported movably in back and forth directions (a, b) to the loader chassis 6, and a traverse chassis 13, which places a turntable 14 and an optical pickup 16 and which can move vertically, in a play mode, the disk D on the tray 9 is raised by the turntable 14, the device is formed so that information recorded in the disk D made to rotate at a high speed by the turntable 14 is read out by the optical pickup 16; a dust cover 12, made of synthetic resin covering a lower plane of the loader chassis 6, is provided; the loader chassis 6 is fixed to the bottom chassis 1b of the case 1 via the dust cover 12 and via a plurality of base mounts 7, 8; and the appropriate base mount 7 is integrally formed with the dust cover 12 with either of the plurality of base mounts 7, 8.
