<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment improved in operability when reading information from an information storage area provided in an external memory without contact. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna coil for non-contact communication with an IC tag mounted on an external optical disk 310 is arranged near (a back side, for example) of a liquid crystal monitor 103. When communicating through the IC tag on the optical disk 103 and the antenna coil, markers 141a-141c for specifying a position, to which the optical disk 103 is brought close for communication, are displayed in the liquid crystal display 103. When a user brings the optical disk 103 close to the position at the markers 141a-141c, non-contact communication is performed between the IC tag and the antenna coil, and information is read from the IC tag to the imaging device, and this information is displayed in the liquid crystal monitor 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
