<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a pillar trim of a vehicle capable of preventing the pillar trim from falling while allowing the pillar trim to move without causing an increase of the number of parts, and improving the assembling workability of the pillar trim. <P>SOLUTION: In this mounting structure of the pillar trim 4 of the vehicle, a curtain type airbag 2 and a tether belt 3 are disposed on the cabin side internal surface of a pillar inner panel 1, and the pillar trim 4 is fixed in a mounting hole 6 of the pillar inner panel 1 via a clip 9. An engaging hole 5 is formed at the pillar inner panel 1. An engaging claw 7 having an engaging part 7a engaged to the peripheral edge of the engaging hole 5 is integrally projectingly formed on the rear face of the pillar trim 4. The engaging claw 7 is projected more than the tip of the clip 9 so that the engaging part 7a of the engaging claw 7 projectingly formed in the pillar trim 4 may be engaged with the peripheral edge of the engaging hole 5 of the pillar inner panel 1 after the curtain type airbag 2 is extended and the fixing by the clip 9 of the pillar trim 4 is released. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
