A switching regulator and a control method for the same are provided, which can produce switching output voltage having the reduced output ripple by using the feedback control loop. The switching regulator(100) controls the high-side switch(M1) and low-side switch(M2) by using the feedback control loop. The switching regulator runs the switch output node in order to produce the switching output voltage. The switch output node is combined with the LC filter circuit. The voltage divider produces the feedback voltage in the feedback voltage node. The on-time control circuit(128) produces the first signal for controlling the high-side switch.
