<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip resistor which is suitable as a chip resistor for current detection by reducing a risk of resistance value variation by making high the adhesive strength between the resistance body and plating of a low-resistance chip resistor. <P>SOLUTION: A resistance body 12 formed on a top surface of an insulating substrate 10 comprises a thick film portion 13 and a thin film portion 14 formed successively from an end of the thick film portion 13 in an inter-electrode direction to a thickness less than that of the thick film portion 13. A protective film 20 covers the entire region of the thick film portion 13 and the plating 21 covers the region between the protective film 20 and a side electrode 18 on a top surface of the thin film portion 14, and the side electrode 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
