<p>A method for the treatment of the blade tip (11) of a turbine blade is proposed in which silicon carbide (SiC) particles (3) are bound on the surfa ce of the blade tip for the production of an abrasive coating, wherein a self-healing barrier layer is produced on the SiC particles.
