PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of highly accurately setting a color tone to be imparted to images. SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes: an input means for input of achromatic halftone images; a display means for displaying a hue space for which a specific color of a recording medium is taken into consideration and points indicating white and black expressed in the hue space on a screen; a change means for changing the position of at least one of the points indicating white and black displayed by the display means; a calculation means for obtaining a value expressing the achromatic halftone in the hue space on the basis of a value expressing in the hue space the point of at least one of white and black changed by the change means; and a printing means for printing the achromatic halftone image to the recording medium on the basis of the value expressing the achromatic halftone obtained by the calculation means.
