Disclosed are a security channel forming apparatus and a method thereof. The security channel forming method of the present invention comprises the steps of: a mobile trusted module receiving a mobile reliability module owner password from a mobile reliability module user through an application, thereby setting ownership of the mobile reliability module user; the mobile trusted module receiving a request of mobile trusted module enabling (EnableMTM) and the mobile reliability module owner password from the mobile reliability module user through the application, thereby performing user authentication and changing into an enabling state depending on a success in authentication; the mobile trusted module registering an application that the mobile reliability module user plans to use; the mobile reliability module and a registered application registered in the mobile reliability module forming a security channel; and the registered application and the mobile trusted module sending and receiving a request and a response depending on a success in forming a security channel. |
