POSITION ESTIMATION METHOD, POSITION ESTIMATION SYSTEM, AND MAGNETIC FIELD GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve position estimation accuracy of a magnetic field generator.SOLUTION: A central magnetic field measurement system has: a magnetic field generator 1 provided with a plurality of circular coils 11 that generate a magnetic field; and an arithmetic unit which estimates positions of the respective circular coils 11 on the basis of a result of measuring the magnetic field caused by the respective circular coils 11 with a measurement magnetic sensor. Also, in the magnetic field generator, a reference point 13 whose distance from the respective circular coils 11 is known is set. The arithmetic unit estimates a position of the reference point 13 on the basis of the result of measuring the magnetic field occurring from the respective circular coils 11 and, on the basis of the estimated position of the reference point 13, calculates positions of the respective circular coils 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
