PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for forming a color image having a forgery prevention function by using a cholesteric liquid crystal showing changes in a hue depending on a viewing angle and a material showing no change in a hue by a viewing angle.SOLUTION: A color image is constituted by a set of a great number of pixels; and chromatic color pixels are segmented into two or more regions in such a manner that one region is configured to include a cholesteric liquid crystal and to be hue-variable while the other region is configured to be hue-invariable and that in a frontal view of the image, both regions exhibit the same chromatic color. For example, a red pixel comprises a first region R where a red cholesteric liquid crystal is used and a second region where a magenta pigment ink M and a yellow pigment ink Y are used. In a frontal view of the image, the pixel appears red and changes into an unnatural hue when a viewing angle is changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
